The Contracts Administrator is responsible for a variety of support and administrative functions for the Company.  Reporting directly to the SVP Business & Legal Affairs, the Business & Production Administrator is expected to be reliable, proactive, and detail orientated.

 

This position provides the unique opportunity to learn about the business of the television and film production industry in a challenging and collaborative environment. It will also provide the opportunity to grow one’s business affairs skills and grow within the role.


 

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the paperwork, contract management, and maintaining records.
  • Updating HRIS system (Bamboo HR) with employment and contract details.
  • Drafting basic employee and contractor agreements.
  • Proofreading and editing documents.
  • Assisting with various legal agreements and tracking.
  • Assisting with foreign worker applications.
  • Tracking company insurance policies.
  • Preparing industry financing applications.
  • Helping with special projects, as assigned.
  • Other tasks as required

 


Requirements:


  • Experience with HRIS, preferably BambooHR.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with contracts and legal documents.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and able to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong PC skills with Microsoft Office including word and excel.
  • Strong organization skills and detail-oriented.
  • Proven team player.
  • Must be a Canadian citizen and Ontario resident.

  • Shows growth on the business/legal tasks and is a reliable, independent and a proactive member of the team.

Education and Experience:


  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, law/paralegal, administration, or related discipline.
